Toan Phat Irradiation Plant (TPI) offers a 15% discount on fresh fruit irradiation treatment service fees, including grapefruit and longan, applicable on June 6, 2024.

Not only exported to the main market of China, Vietnamese fresh grapefruit and longan are being exported and increasing strongly in many other major markets such as the US, Australia, New Zealand... and have quite high prices.

According to data from the General Department of Customs, in 2023, Vietnam's fresh longan exports reached more than 14 million USD, an increase of nearly 2.5 times compared to 2022. As for grapefruit, in the first 8 months of 2023; Grapefruit exports reached 29.6 million USD, up 144% over the same period in 2022, the strongest increase in the past 5 years. However, for markets such as the US, Australia, New Zealand...; There are higher standards, requiring imported grapefruit and longans not to be contaminated with plant quarantine objects, to be treated with irradiation and to be issued a quarantine certificate by the Plant Protection Department.

Currently, despite being in harvest season, Vietnam's fresh grapefruit and longan are under a lot of pressure and competition from foreign markets. - 15% discount on irradiation service fees for an order of Fresh Fruit (Grapefruit and Longan) up to 30 tons for each type registered for processing from 00:00 to 23:59 on June 6, 2024.

- 100% free of import/export fees for irradiated goods.

- Output registered for irradiation treatment is accumulated during the day.
