Many Polish products imported into the Vietnamese market must go through intermediary channels, so Poland wants to promote trade between the two countries to open up direct import channels.
On August 8, the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Polish Association of Slaughterers, Producers and Meat Processors (SRW RP), the National Union of Fruit and Vegetable Producers, and a number of other units, organized the promotion program “Europe full of flavor - tradition and quality” in Ho Chi Minh City.
The promotion program “Europe full of flavor - tradition and quality” is an annual program to support the Polish business community operating in the fields of agriculture, F&B (food and catering industry) to find new partners and develop international markets.
The program is also part of a long-term trade promotion effort, introducing a variety of European food products to Vietnam with the goal of promoting the food value and nutritional benefits of products from Europe.
Specifically, this year's program aims to promote beef and pork (fresh, chilled and frozen); apples and apple products...; At the same time, the program's activities target consumers, distributors and importers in Vietnam to bring high-quality products at reasonable prices to the domestic market.
Mr. Tomasz Parzybut, Executive Director of the Polish Association of Slaughterers, Producers and Meat Processors, said that together with the National Union of Fruit and Vegetable Producers, the Association has co-organized the promotion program "Europe full of flavor - tradition and quality" over the years.
Up to now, the Association has more than 130 beef, pork and poultry producers and processors operating in Poland and always actively participate in product marketing activities to potential foreign markets.
Vietnamese people have increasingly higher incomes and are concerned about health issues, so they prioritize shopping and consuming high-quality products, as well as imported goods.
This is an opportunity for food products that meet global standards to enter the Vietnamese market; in which Polish enterprises expect to seize this opportunity and exploit favorable conditions to promote the import of food products into Vietnam.
According to Ms. Bozena Wroblewska, President of the Promotion Center of the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, many Polish products are currently present in Vietnam, but Poland wants to bring more diverse products to the Vietnamese market and the promotion program "Europe full of flavor - tradition and quality" is one of the key activities.
Food products from Poland, the EU and Europe in general always ensure compliance with international quality and high production standards.
Typically, Poland is one of the leading fruit suppliers in the EU, playing an important role in many markets outside Europe thanks to ensuring high quality, meeting global standards, competitive prices....
In addition, the network of fruit and vegetable farms in Europe managed by young farmers is using a variety of modern technologies and specialized equipment, so the quality of production is increasingly improved.
Mr. Piotr Harasimowicz, Head of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, said that Vietnam has participated in many Free Trade Agreements, so the investment and trade environment is increasingly integrated into the global economy, especially import and export activities; in which, the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement is promoting the trade value of the two sides in general and many countries in the EU in particular.
Vietnam and Poland are also important partners of each other, especially the import and export value of food from Poland to Vietnam has been constantly increasing in recent years.
However, many Polish food products imported into the Vietnamese market must go through intermediary channels, so Poland wants to promote trade promotion activities between the two countries to open up the direct import channel and the promotion program "Europe full of flavor - tradition and quality" is one of the outstanding programs.
Along with the promotion program “Europe full of flavor - tradition and quality,” Polish promotion units also organized a business delegation to attend the 28th International Exhibition on Food - Beverage and Equipment for Processing Technology, Food and Beverage Packaging (Vietfood & Beverage-Propack Vietnam 2024) taking place from August 8-10, in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the exhibition, the Polish national pavilion displays and introduces a variety of typical food products originating from Poland./.
